I am hiring an Incident Responder on behalf of a Cyber Security company specializing in IT security and data protection solutions. The company provides consulting, auditing, and implementation services to help businesses secure sensitive information and comply with regulations like GDPR. Their offerings include cybersecurity risk assessments, data encryption, penetration testing, and security training. With a focus on comprehensive data protection, they support organizations in safeguarding their digital assets against cyber threats and ensuring regulatory compliance.
In this role you will be responsible for:
  • Continuously overseeing and analysing security alerts from multiple sources across the IT environment.
  • Incident response
  • Performing forensic investigations to uncover the root causes of security breaches.
  • Actively searching for and analysing indicators of compromise (IOCs) and other warning signs. • Report writing


This role is remote in Germany with occasional travel to client site.


Essential:
  • Relevant degree e.g. Computer Science, Cyber Security
  • Incident response experience
  • Experience with threat hunting and forensics
  • In depth knowledge of SIEM and EDR tools
  • C1 German minimum


Desirable:
  • Initial experience with penetration testing
