We are currently seeking an

IT Analyst (m/f/d),
Based in Berlin or Fully Remote in Germany or Poland

to join our IT Team Europe.

We are in search of a dynamic IT Analyst who is motivated and experienced in IT operations and support. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining and optimizing our IT systems while ensuring compliance with industry-specific regulations.

Locations:

  • The Aurora Europe headoffice is based in Berlin/Germany.
  • The Aurora Polska office is located in Warsaw/Poland.
  • Fully remote working option is available in Germany or Poland.

Key Responsibilities:

  • IT Operations:
  • Monitor and maintain the company's IT systems, including Private Cloud, servers, workstations, mobile, and network devices.
  • Ensure Global and Local policies are adhered and complied to
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, providing timely support to end-users. Deploy new hardware and software solutions.
  • Manage assets, requests and incidents with Aurora’s ITSM Tool.
  • Manage desktop applications and patching with Aurora’s Remote management tool
  • User Support:
  • Provide technical support to end-users, addressing IT-related inquiries and issues.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop user training materials and conduct training sessions for stakeholders where appropriate
  • Assist the Canadian IT team as and when required.
  • Security and Compliance:
  • Assist in the implementation and enforcement of security policies and practices to safeguard sensitive data.
  • Work closely with Canadian IT and business teams to ensure compliance with GDPR, SOX, PCI-DSS and EU-GMP regulations.
  • Participate in compliance audits, providing necessary documentation and support as requested.
  • Assist in implementing corrective actions based on audit findings.
  • Documentation:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of IT systems, configurations, and procedures such as: Image deployment, Application Deployment, process and procedures.
  • Ensure that documentation complies with regulatory requirements.
  • Vendor Management:
  • Collaborate with third-party vendors for hardware, software, and service procurement.
  • Evaluate vendor performance and assist in contract negotiations.
  • Travel and On-call:
  • Due to the nature of the business, travel to other EU countries might be required.
  • In addition, participation in the on-call rotation might be required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in an IT Analyst role, preferably within a regulated industry like cannabis or pharmaceuticals.
  • Familiarity with IT infrastructure components, including hardware, software, and networks.
  • Excellent English language skills, both written and spoken.
  • Proficency in German or Polish is an advantage
  • Basic understanding of security principles and best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong service orientation in dealing with clients
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Certifications such as Comp TIA A+, Comp TIA Security+, or ITIL are a plus.
  • Valid work visa
