What you do as a Junior Project Manager (MCF/ Data Centres)

As a Junior Project Manager, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting and challenging national and international projects in the fast-growing field of data centres. You will collaborate closely with a diverse team of professionals to deliver high-quality projects that meet our clients’ needs. Besides that, you will do the following:

• Assist in the planning and execution of projects related to MCF/ Data Centres, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets and quality standards;
• Collaborate with multi disciplinary design teams to gather project requirements and define project scopes, objectives, and deliverables;
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or issues, and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful project completion;
• Coordinate project resources, including internal team members, external vendors, and subcontractors, to ensure seamless project execution;
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in MCF/ Data Centres, bringing innovative ideas and solutions to improve project outcomes and contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes and methodologies within the team.

As our new Design Manager (MCF/ Data Centres) you will become part of our Global Mission Critical Facilities (MCF) team.
Our global MCF team provides multidisciplinary consultancy services to datacenter clients, including colocation datacentres, internet service providers, and telecom companies. The team is diverse, with expertise in areas like electrical and mechanical engineering, construction, architecture, fire safety, control engineering, and security technology. Together, this knowledge is used to develop integrated designs for Data Centres. You will be part of a dedicated, passionate team that is globally recognized as one of the best in Data Centre design and engineering. Curious about our work? What you bring

You are an entrepreneurial project manager who wants to develop as a project manager in the world of data centres with a strong desire to pursue a career in this field. You have a talent for organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines. To support that, you possess proactive problem-solving abilities and keen attention to detail. Finally, you have a growth mindset and a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment. Also, you have:

• A background in Construction Management and Engineering;
• Affinity with digital and automated design and engineering processes (BIM360, CDE);
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Excellent knowledge of the English language (and Dutch or German);
• Previous employment by a design and engineering company is prefered but not mandatory.
