In this role you will be responsible for:
- Managing SOC processes to handle security events, including implementing necessary responses.
- Evaluating events using SOC tools, proactively detecting threats and attacks.
- Oversee the enhancement of SOC tools covering log correlation, SIEM, NDR, endpoint security, and vulnerability management.
- Manage the integration of new event sources into SOC tools.
- Refine and optimize use cases and rules for threat detection.
- Actively contribute to enhancing SOC processes and automation through programming interfaces.
Essential:
- Relevant degree e.g. Computer Science, IT etc.
- Some initial professional SOC experience (working student is fine)
- Knowledge of common programming languages e.g. Python
- Solid knowledge of IDS/IPS, SIEM, Firewalls and Encryption
- C1 German and English
