Key Account Manager (m/f/d)

Main purpose of role:
Manage relevant Key Accounts in the DACH region, in alignment with the regional strategy:
- Hit budgeted sales growth targets.
- Pro-active and analytical management of our retail partners.
- Optimize product mix and positioning within all point of sale of the customers.
- Identifying customer needs & assessing their potential. Finding opportunities to build up customer relationships and optimizing the assortment within all point of sale.
- Elaborating Full Year Plan for each account. Secure budget of the DACH region, including means to reach turnover and margin targets set by line manager.
- Lead negotiations with customer base, including commercial terms, contractual and promotional discussions.
- Owning the commercial relationship, i.e. the joint business plan, regular meetings with customers, constant analyzing of performance and implement corrective actions, if needed, internal forecasting & demand planning (Annual, Quarterly and Monthly) for customers.
- Keep track of new product launches and phase outs and ensure a smooth transition.
- Regular travelling is required to ensure an in-depth market knowledge and manage face-to-face meetings with customers.
- Communicating the customer needs within the multifunctional team and internal stakeholders in an efficient manner.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with ambition to pursue a career in Sales Management.
- Minimum 5 years of Sales and Account management experience.
- Expertise within consumer goods, ideally online and omni retailers.
- Product and/or Industry Knowledge preferred, but not essential.
- Strong commercial drive and pro-active way of working.
- Customer and consumer centric approach.
- Results oriented.
- High level of resilience and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate efficiently with different stakeholders.
- Highly Analytical.
- Excellent negotiation skills.
- Must be comfortable working in fast paced work environment.
- Open & positive mindset to embrace change and dynamic ways of working.
- Excellent skills in self-management and setting priorities.
- Fluent English and German language required.
