SRH Hochschule Heidelberg is one of the oldest and largest private universities in Germany. It is state recognized and accredited by the German council of Science and humanities. To support our Faculty of Information, Media and Design, we are looking for lecturers f/m/d on an fee basis for the Applied Data Science and Analytics degree program with a focus on Data Engineering.

Your duties:

• Deliver postgraduate lectures, tutorials, and lab sessions in data engineering and related subjects
  
• Develop course materials, including syllabi, assessments, and practical lab exercises, to ensure that students receive hands-on and theoretical knowledge
  
• Contribute to the design and improvement of the data engineering curriculum, ensuring alignment with industry standards and emerging trends

Your profile:

• A Master’s or Ph D in Data Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or a closely related field. Candidates with significant industry experience may also be considered
  
• Strong foundation in data engineering concepts, including but not limited to: , Data warehousing, Data pipelines and ETL processes, Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), Big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, • Relational and non-relational databases (SQL, No SQL)
  
• Evidence of teaching experience or a demonstrated ability to deliver effective teaching and learning materials
