Master Thesis student (d/f/m) for Development of a Liquid Cooling System for a Fuel Cell System
You are looking for a master thesis in a research and development environment and want to work on Fuel Cell Systems and components? Then apply now! We look forward to you supporting us in the Fuel Cell Systems Team as a Masters student (d/f/m)!
Proton Exchange Membrane (PEM) fuel cells enable an efficient and locally emission free energy conversion. This is why they are considered as important technologies to tackle the necessary mobility transition towards a sustainable aviation industry.
This master’s thesis aims to develop a cooling system suitable for use in a laboratory environment to cool a fuel cell system. The task includes the design and simulation of an efficient and reliable cooling system that meets the thermal requirements of the fuel cell system. In addition to thermodynamic analysis, practical aspects such as integration into existing laboratory infrastructure and the selection of appropriate materials and components must be considered.
The goal of this thesis is to develop a functional prototype cooling system for a fuel cell system in aviation, that can be tested and optimized under laboratory conditions.
