Description:
Onsite - 8 hours Monday to Friday and hours are variable some Saturdays, 0800-1630 or 830-1700
EDUCATION
Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.
HS Diploma or equivalent education/experience
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AS TYPICALLY ACQUIRED IN:
2 years medical receptionist experience, preferably in a radiology setting.
Working knowledge of medical office procedures and medical terminology preferred.
Basic computer/keyboard skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent customer service skills.
Attention to detail.
Ability to work as part of a team.
DEPARTMENT SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE Affiliate: Alta Bates Summit Medical Center, Department: Medical Imaging, 0-2 years’ experience, minimum 6 months’ work experience in a radiology department required
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to speak effectively.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to compute rate, ratio, discounts and percent.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations."
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 per week
