The Nordex SCADA software development team is looking for a Network Engineer (m/f/d). You will contribute to designing and maintaining the worldwide network infrastructures for our IIo T-based SCADA solution. Together with the international team you will be responsible for more than 1000 wind farms worldwide. Become part of our dedicated team and shape the future of the wind power industry with us!

YOUR TASKS

• Further development of infrastructures in the open-source environment, mainly based on virtualized environments
• Development, planning and improvement of OT security processes and vulnerability management in wind farms
• Hardening of software and operating systems (Linux/Windows)
• Collaboration in projects and 3rd level support, especially for large and complex wind farms around the world with up to 1.21 GW capacity
• Support in global software distribution and build automation with Azure Dev Ops
• Agile working in an international team

YOUR PROFILE

• A degree in computer science, communications engineering, electrical engineering or a comparable qualification with extensive practical experience in network technology
• In-depth knowledge of operating systems such as Linux, Proxmox and Windows as well as Ansible
• Experience with Power Shell and databases as well as in-depth knowledge of firewalls, routers and protocols
• Analytical thinking and logical understanding of complex issues and system architectures
• Knowledge of security protocols and devices such as stateful firewall, IPS, VPN, IPSec, TLS and L2-4 security
• Strong initiative and hands-on mentality
• Strong communication and teamwork skills paired with intercultural competence
• Very good knowledge of German and English, knowledge of Spanish an advantage
