This opportunity sits in our Frankfurt office working for Westpac Europe Gmb H (WEG), Westpac’s most recently established subsidiary supporting the needs of our corporate, institutional, and governmental clients across Europe.
How will I help?
The role of the Outsourcing manager is to manage all internal and external outsourcing activities for WEG, the Frankfurt subsidiary of Westpac. They need to manage and maintain service level agreements ensuring ongoing compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements and policies.Work with a team of Business Analysts to deliver tailored business solutions in the growth phase of the newly established Wesptac Europe Gmb H
The WEG Outsourcing Manager has responsibility for all outsourcing activity as the Outsourcing Officer ( Auslagerungsbeauftragter )

• In this capacity, the role must maintain strong relationships with Westpac and WEG’s other outsourcing partners.
• The Outsourcing Manager will have experience, local knowledge and skills to manage, monitor and control WEG’s outsourcing activities according to local regulatory requirements.
• Creation and maintenance of all WEG outsourcing documentation (incl. policies and procedures) and reporting as required
• Point of contact for auditors on all matters relating to outsourcing
• Support the Information Security Officer

What do I need?

• Banking experience in a similar role
• Several years of professional experience in the field of outsourcing management in a bank or financial services institution
• Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements according to KWG, Ma Risk, BAIT and the EBA guidelines on outsourcing management
• Understanding of technology systems and cloud services
• Very good written and spoken German and English
• Demonstrated behaviours in accordance with the Westpac Group Values
• Strong relationship/stakeholder management skills
• High attention to detail
• Superior communication skills- oral and written
• Planning and organisational skills
• Ability to persuade and influence
• A focus on outcome and delivery
• Ability and motivation to upskill quickly and strengthen broader regulatory knowledge
