Project Development Manager (Solar PV)

- Originate, develop and monitor renewable energy projects and new opportunities
- Acquisition of land plots suitable for the construction of PV projects
- Develop and responsibly own project opportunities
- Coordinate and implement and improve project development processes in an international and interdisciplinary team.
- Supporting management in negotiations by preparing decision templates and reports
- As a representative of Smartenergy, represent and negotiate the projects before authorities and other public bodies
- Development and control of supporting local marketing strategies.
- Support the management team in negotiations, preparing investment memos & reports and conducting due diligence by ensuring projects meet financing and technical requirements
- Select and manage local businesses to partner and consultants in order to deliver projects to Ready to Build (RTB) stage
- Fluent in German (ideally mother tongue)
- Fluent in English (Company language)
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience Project Development of utility scale renewables
- Microsoft package user
- Apple user
- Desire to build an innovative Solar PV business
- Ability to work under pressure with strict deadlines and budgets
- Team player attitude
- Feeling for responsibility
- Can do attitude
