About the team:

Join our team at the Center of Expertise (Co E) “Central Forecast & Subsidiary Controlling” within Corporate Controlling, where we focus on the financial central forecast process for the SAP Group. Our team regularly provides a total year revenue and expenses forecast on SAP Group level to the Board, using standardized financial calculation models and predictive analytics tools. In addition, we offer expert advice on specific revenue and expense types, prepare ad-hoc revenue and cost analyses for SAP’s top management, and are involved in projects with major impact on SAP’s future financial steering and reporting. What you’ll do:

Position title: SAP Finance i Xp Intern (f/m/d) – Controlling Intern Center of Excellence Central Forecast
Work Area: Finance
Location: Walldorf
Expected start date: October 1, 2024

In this role, you’ll:

• Assist in the preparation and planning of the SAP Group's central financial forecast
• Perform ad-hoc analysis on various finance topics
• Support workstreams in the "Forecast reimagined" project, working towards the vision of enhancing standardization and automation in SAP's Forecast process.
• Test the capabilities and limitations of innovative predictive analytics tools
• Collaborate with IT, data scientists, and various business levels
• Proactively think across boundaries and coordinate with other teams

Who you are:

You are a student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences. We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stays curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.

• Studies of Business Administration, Mathematics or Business Informatics
• Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge
• Exceptional analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills to effectively engage with colleagues and senior management
• Familiarity with Predictive Analytics, Data Mining, and Statistics
• Interest in cutting-edge IT solutions for continual process enhancement
• Strong knowledge of MS Office, with a particular emphasis on Excel and Power Point, is essential.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities in both English and German
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate within a team
• Eagerness to explore and expand skills and knowledge
