What you will do

We are excited to announce an exceptional opportunity to join tesaas a Scientist within our esteemed Scientist Organization. You will drive innovation within the technology fields of Liquid Processing and Physical & Chemical Treatment by leveraging a deep understanding in several development frameworks and developing intellectual property (patents portfolio, trade secrets), while actively monitoring competitors and sharing relevant knowledge within the organization.and ensuring strategic alignment through consultancy and active project participation.

Your key tasks will be the following:

Assess development concepts in alignment with Technology Roadmaps.
Initiate, perform and support key developments of process technologies and methods within the framework of projects, incl. experimental work and coordination of lab, pilot or production trials.
Continuously ensure and drive the development of knowledge within the technology fields and share efficiently knowledge within relevant working groups and Scientist organization to ensure the necessary competence level defined by the technology strategy.
Monitor competitor developments and trends on operational level
Contribute to, provide consultation or initiate invention disclosures, maintain and develop a

patent portfolio (together with Senior Scientists), contribute to and/or lead the Technology Field
Expert Team by monitoring of competitors, blank spot analysis, FTO analysis.

Develop and implement the Technology Roadmap and support the Technology Strategy

while making investment recommendations for technology development.

Actively build up and maintain internal and external networks , with the focus on technological

aspects ( e.g. suppliers, institutions, academia), initiate and maintain external cooperations

What you will need

Education / work experience:

Ph D in Physics or Engineering discipline with at least 5 years of professional experience in liquid processing and coating technologies and Physical & Chemical Pretreatment methods, Radiation Protection experience are beneficial
Language skills: English fluent and German beginner
Deep understanding of scientific principles, theories, and research methodologies relevant adhesive coating and physical treatment technologies

Ability to

analyze and interpret complex data, identify trends, and develop insights to guide decision making.
discuss and validate the quality of research.
foster natural curiosity, explore new ideas, and think creatively for innovative solutions.
prioritize tasks and manage time effectively when handling multiple projects.
clearly communicate scientific concepts and findings to stakeholders and team members, both verbally and in writing.
work effectively with cross functional teams, incl. other (Sr.) Scientists, developers, engineers and project managers.
