As an integral member of our Factory Systems team, you will play a leading role in bringing the production of our e VTOL to Industry 4.0. You will be responsible for conception and development of services interacting with everything from large production machines to users and everything in between, driving automation and coherence to existing regulations in this new type of industry. With your development skills, you will drive the integration of our production machines and the connection to all related production data, significantly advancing automation to the greatest extent possible.

(Senior) Backend Developer (m/f/d)
Your tasks:

• Development of Backend services using python
• Interfacing with Frontend developers to realise needed functions
• Further development of the existing architecture and optimization of automation strategies
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders to identify and align requirements and functionalities
• Collaborating with external vendors to determine optimal strategies and ensure system stability
• International deployment at locations in the US and Germany

Your profile:

• Completed studies in (business) informatics, or a comparable field
• Advanced proficiency in Python
• Advanced knowledge in RESTful web services and/or streaming using Kafka
• Working proficiency with Git Hub-based CI/CD
• Working proficiency with databases such as Postgre SQL and/or Timescale DB
• Ideally, familiarity with different file systems such as cloud storage or similar
• Ability to work independently in international teams
• Experience with complex projects and agile working methods ideally, in the production sector
