Primary Driver Role:
The primary responsibility of this position is to transport airline employees, including pilots and flight attendants, to and from San Francisco Airport and designated hotels.
This role is essential in ensuring timely and efficient travel for airline personnel, contributing to the overall operational success of the airline.
In addition the candidate will also have opportunity to provide other recreational chartered services.
You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and safe vehicle, and ensuring on-time arrivals and departures.
This position requires excellent communication skills, solid attention to detail, and a commitment to providing a positive experience for passengers.
Shuttle Driver Responsibilities:
1. Operate shuttle vehicles safely and efficiently, adhering to established routes and schedules while transporting passengers to and from designated locations.
2. Deliver exceptional customer service by warmly greeting passengers, offering assistance with luggage, and addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly and courteously.
3. Maintain vehicle cleanliness and optimal functioning through daily pre-trip inspections, timely refueling, and prompt reporting of any mechanical issues or damages.
4. Strictly comply with all traffic laws and safety regulations to ensure a secure environment for passengers and other road users.
5. Accurately document and maintain records of all trips, including passenger counts, mileage, and fuel consumption data.
6. Provide assistance with loading and unloading passenger luggage as required.
7. Facilitate clear and effective communication with dispatchers, passengers, and fellow drivers to coordinate pick-up and drop-off locations and efficiently manage any schedule changes or delays.
8. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including dress code and professional conduct standards.
9. Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance driving skills and knowledge of shuttle operations.
10. Follow strict schedules to ensure on-time arrivals and departures, adjusting routes and times to accommodate traffic or unforeseen circumstances.
Shuttle Driver Required Skills and Qualifications:
1. Valid Class A or B driver's license with an exemplary driving record.
2. Familiarity with San Francisco Airport operations and layout (highly desirable).
3. Comprehensive knowledge of local routes and landmarks (preferred).
4. Demonstrated excellence in driving skills, coupled with thorough understanding of traffic laws and safety regulations.
5. Superior customer service skills, including the ability to interact effectively with a diverse, multicultural passenger base.
6. Proven capacity to maintain composure and professionalism in high-stress or challenging situations.
7. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
8. Ability to work autonomously and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
9. Fundamental understanding of vehicle maintenance principles and capability to perform routine inspections.
10. Exceptional time management and organizational abilities.
11. Flexibility to accommodate various shift schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications:
1. Minimum 25 years of age and 3 years of professional driving experience, preferably in shuttle services or related transportation roles.
2. Impeccable driving record, free of DUI convictions or major traffic violations.
3. Ability to successfully complete and pass a comprehensive background check, drug screening, and physical examination.
4. Physical capability to manage luggage, including lifting and carrying items weighing up to 50 pounds or more.
5. Defensive driving certification or equivalent training (highly desirable).
6. Working knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance (preferred).
7. Proficiency in multiple languages, particularly those commonly spoken by our passenger demographic, is considered an asset.

Compensation:
Hourly wage ranging from $25 to $35, based on vehicle size.
