Your mission

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to take on a multifaceted role that blends technical acumen, project management expertise, and strong leadership skills. This position offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact both at the operational and strategic levels of our organization.
At the operational level, you will independently manage mid-sized to large software development projects, overseeing them from conception through global deployment, often over multi-year timelines. You'll work directly with clients to translate strategic requirements into robust, scalable solutions at global enterprise level.
This isn't a conventional project management position. We need someone with significant technical knowledge who can distinguish between various technical development approaches, as much as deploy a range of PM concepting tools from wireframes to BMPL to modelling data with relationship diagrams etc. You should confidently guide clients through technical decisions, collaborating with our team to offer alternative solutions while focusing on delivering value.
Your responsibilities include ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and aligned with profitability goals. You'll also lead cross-functional teams, including developers, UI/UX specialists, and infrastructure experts. Your leadership will be crucial in motivating teams to meet objectives and exceed client expectations.
This pivotal role requires a strong combination of emotional intelligence, advanced communication skills, and exceptional organizational capabilities. The scope of management will depend on your experience, with potential for increased leadership responsibilities as you grow with us.

• 
  Lead and mentor teams, guiding both internal team and managing external stakeholders.
• Manage the complete project lifecycle, from pre-sales to final delivery, including strategy, execution, and support.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives and technical requirements.
• Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure seamless project execution.
• Deliver projects on time, within scope, and within budget, while maintaining a focus on delivering business value.
• Develop comprehensive project plans and other project-controlling artifacts to track progress and ensure successful outcomes.
• Proactively manage risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
• Prepare and lead client meetings, creating and presenting clear project documentation and status updates.
• Nurture long-term client relationships and support business development efforts to grow Acrontum’s client base.
• Use your analytical and critical thinking skills to navigate complex projects and make data-driven decisions.
• Create sophisticated, reliable project offerings and cost estimations for client proposals.

Your profile

• 8+ years of experience in digital project management and IT consulting, with significant experience as the primary project lead.
• Strong technical background, with practical experience in software development and web technologies.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor teams, with a passion for coaching less experienced members.
• Deep understanding of Agile methodologies, including an appreciation for where they excel and where they may fall short.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a solution-oriented mindset.
• PMP/PMI certification and/or experience managing projects according to PMP/PMI standards.
• Scrum Master certification and/or extensive experience with Scrum and Kanban frameworks.
• Exceptional communication skills and an ability to manage diverse stakeholders effectively.
• Fluency in German (native level) and English (B2-C1).
