Join our team as a Solutions Engineering Deputy Manager! Work remotely from anywhere in Germany, leading a solutions engineering team and supporting new business and contract renewals.
Your responsibilities

• 25% management responsibility, overseeing a team of 9-10 engineers. 75% hands-on involvement in 3 key areas:
• RFQ: Heavily involved in requests for quotations, headcount modeling, material flows, process mapping, and data analysis
• Launches: Manage master data, CAPEX engineering budgets, liaise with customers, suppliers, and vendors, and handle equipment requirements.
• Business as usual, e.g. support to Site Managers, handle GAP business and analysis
• Lead and support bids and projects
• Design and deliver customer-specific solutions
• Collaborate with stakeholders across functions
• Implement new business on time and within budget
• Promote best practices and enhance processes
• Manage capacity and prioritize projects
• Achieve annual targets for new business and renewals
• Execute automation processes
• Develop and cross-train team members

Your profile

• Technical degree or equivalent experience
• 5+ years in engineering, 2+ years in management, preferably in logistics or automotive
• Leadership skills to manage and develop a regional team
• Knowledge of supply chain, logistics, and quality systems
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills
• Detail-oriented and results-driven
• Fluent in German and English (both min. C1); other languages are a plus
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Power Point, CAD, and ERP systems
• Willingness to travel across the DACH region and beyond
