*Job Summary* We are seeking a talented and passionate Sous Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will assist in managing kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation. This role requires a strong background in kitchen management, food production, and inventory control, along with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. *Responsibilities* - Assist the Executive Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations and staff management. - Ensure all food preparation meets quality standards and adheres to safety regulations. - Help with menu planning, including catering and banquet events, ensuring diverse and appealing offerings. - Maintain inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and managing food costs effectively. - Train and mentor kitchen staff on culinary techniques and best practices. - Collaborate with the dietary department to accommodate special dietary needs and preferences. - Support the team during high-volume service periods, ensuring timely delivery of meals. - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in compliance with health regulations. *Requirements* - Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role within a hospitality or catering environment. - Strong knowledge of kitchen management practices, including inventory management and food production techniques. - Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards. - Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members. - Familiarity with banquet service operations is a plus. - Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and other departments. - A passion for culinary arts and commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences.
