This position is part of our Safety Business Unit. Safer, more sustainable and more integrated production and transport systems are its goals.
At our Donauwörth site, located on the banks of the river Danube, we support Airbus Helicopters in developing helicopters from the initial idea to the airworthy product. Watch them take off and touch down on our own on-site test airfield

Task Description
-
Autonomous performormance of static calculations and lifecycle analysis for metallic components using analytical methods and FE analysis
-
Responsible for the evaluation of quality reports and consultancy for construction deviations
-
Providing instructions for repairs and changes in the production process
-
Answering to customer questions and investigating occurrences or incidents from operations
-
Creation of required documentation
-
Presentation of work results

The work task requires knowledge and skills that are usually acquired through a relevant, completed course of study with a standard period of study of up to 4 years in the area of aeronautical engineering or equivalent. The overall knowledge and experience required may have been acquired in other ways.

The job requires knowledge and skills that are usually acquired through a relevant, completed degree with a standard period of study of up to 4 years in the area of aeronautical engineering or equivalent and related subject-specific additional qualifications or through a relevant, completed degree with a standard period of study of more than 4 years with a degree or completed vocational training with a corresponding particularly extensive subject-specific additional qualification. The total required knowledge and experience may have been acquired in other ways

Knowledge and experience in the above-mentioned areas of responsibility

E xperience as a stress engineer

Experience with standard analytical methods (e. g. HSB, Bruhn, ESDU, Roark & Young)

Knowledge and e xperience of FE-tools (Hypermesh, Optistruct, NASTRAN, ABAQUS)

Experience with structural and life time analysis

Analytical and problem solving skills

Very good communication skills

Proactive and autonomous

Well structured
-
Language skills: fluent in written and spoken German and English (at least B2)

Willingness to travel domestically and abroad
