We, the Hope Foundation are offering a unique opportunity to join our team as a trainee in a Global Education Project. The Hope Foundation, a Cameroonian-German non-profit organization is working in education, sports and health.
Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and implementation of educational programs for students in Berlin.
• Collaborate with team members to create engaging and interactive learning materials.
• Support the coordination of project.
• Contribute to the promotion of cross-cultural understanding and communication.
• Participate in meetings to enhance professional skills.

Qualifications:

• Applicants must be from Asia, Africa or Latin America
• Enthusiasm for learning and a strong interest in global education.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Adaptability and willingness to take on new challenges.
• Excellent English skills (additional languages are a plus).

Project Title: Bridging Cultures- Global South Voices driving change
About the project:
In this project, trainers from Global South will teach in English, engaging learners in discussions develop solutions for the challenges their continents and countries face.
Additionally, learners will brainstorm innovative ideas for projects and events to raise awareness in Germany.
The trainer is responsible for planning and organizing a minimum of five workshops (one- or two-day sessions) tailored for students aged 16-20. Additionally, there are two supplementary events: 'Spoons4Change,' a cooking workshop, and another event with a concept yet to be finalized, such as a film evening. Other duties encompass public relations efforts, workshop evaluations, and the development of teaching materials. We will have two trainers for all the workshops and events.
These year´s special themes about the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) for discussion in the various schools during the workshops and programme are:

• Responsible consumption and production #SDG12
• Climate Action #SDG13
• Peace, justice and strong institutions #SDG16

Target group of the project:

• Learners between 16 and 20 years old from secondary schools in Berlin
• Adults, open public in Berlin

Working hours: 20 hours per week
