Position Overview
We stand on the verge of a transformative shift in healthcare and medical science, where new omics technologies hold the potential to transform how we diagnose and treat diseases. These innovations are generating vast datasets from of human samples, offering unprecedented insights into health. Exact Sciences Proteomics (ESP) is at the forefront of this shift, driving innovation with a next-generation mass spectrometry pipeline that decodes big data to enhance our understanding of health and disease. Our mission is to enable earlier cancer detection, improving patient outcomes and opening the door to new treatment possibilities. Our team combines expertise from leading proteomic scientists and bioinformaticians, all working together to redefine medical diagnostics and seamlessly integrate cutting-edge technologies into clinical practice.

Your opportunity:
We are looking for a working student who supports our R&D team. Possible projects for you include:

• Supporting our laboratory needs, including reagent orderings and tracking
• Refining reagent inventories
• Enhancing our automated analysis pipeline
• Performing biochemical assays

Your work will directly contribute to the company’s success, so we will select your tasks depending on the company’s needs as well as your preferences and capabilities.

Your profile:

• Student (bachelor’s or master’s) in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Enthusiasm for research
• Strong communication skills in German and English
• Strong organizational skills
• Motivation to work collaboratively in a dynamic, agile team environment
• Motivation to bring in own ideas

The annual base salary shown is a national range for this position on a full-time basis and may differ by hiring location. In addition, this position is bonus eligible, and is eligible to receive company stock upon hire as well as annually.
