We are seeking a Senior Cloud Architect to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud-based solutions that meet the needs of our organization. The Cloud Architect will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Dev Ops, engineers, Enterprise Architects, to ensure that solutions are designed to meet business requirements and are scalable, secure, operationally efficient and reliable.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Design and implement cloud-based solutions that meet the needs of our organization.
Ensure that cloud-based solutions are designed and implemented to meet industry best practices and comply with regulatory requirements and security by design.

o Develop and maintain cloud architecture standards, policies, and procedures.

o Provide technical guidance and support to project teams as needed.

o Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans for cloud-based solutions.

o Develop and establish the guidelines to ensure other product owners, optimize infrastructure costs, licensing, sizing.

o Develop and maintain relevant Security standards.

Collaborate with peer Engineers using Agile Delivery (SAFe framework) and by ensuring Delivery Automation, Continuous Testing and Continuous Deployment (Dev Ops)
Research best practices and provide roadmap to ensure alignment with Cloud’s Well Architecture Framework
Provide thought leadership and guidance on cloud architecture best practices, with high focus on Automation of both Delivery and Operations.

ARE THESE YOUR SECRET INGREDIENTS?

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering or a related field
10+ years of experience in cloud architecture& Infrastructure Operations, with a focus on Azure (alternatively AWS, GCP) and/or private Cloud.
Proven experience with Cloud transformation projects and cloud-governance& design principles.
Excellent knowledge of cloud security and policies
Very Good knowledge of cloud automation (policy or Infrastructure as Code)
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
Desired experience of IT services in complex multinational environments
Holder of relevant certifications for Cloud, Microsoft technologies, Container technologies,
Good understanding of mission critical architectures, business continuity and disaster recovery planning, implementation and testing
experience in migrating large size systems to cloud [e.g. CRM, ERP, BW]
Experience in working with multinational distributed virtual teams is considered benefit.
Experience in Azure Cloud is a major advantage.
Excellent spoken and written English.
Communication, organizational and analytical skills
