As our wireless technologies are constantly evolving and winning multiple awards, with funding for next phase secured, and commercial traction demonstrated, we are now looking to on-board a talented Embedded Software Engineer.

Key responsibilities:
- Architect software systems for the space or ground segment
- Develop embedded software for satellite bus and/or payload as well as for ground services
- Test and debug software and hardware components
- Contribute in the development of proposals and documentation for ESA projects
- Write and maintain technical documentation of the in-house software
- BSc or equivalent in Electrical / Computer Engineering or Computer Science or similar field
- Strong background in embedded systems and the Linux operating system
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role in industry or academia
- Expert in the C language and sufficiently good in Python
- Proficient in Linux software development tools (gdb, valgrind, etc)
- Understanding common embedded interfaces (CAN, SPI, I2C)
- Able to use electronics test and debug equipment such as an oscilloscope or a spectrum analyzer
- Familiar with source version control systems such as Git
- Very good command of the English language (level B2 or better)
- Military service obligations fulfilled
- Any prior work with aerospace, defense, health, automotive or other high reliability software
- Software development for real-time operating systems such as Free RTOS or Zephyr
- Deployment of Yocto or Buildroot build systems
- Development or debugging of Linux device drivers
