Arviem AG, with headquarters is Switzerland is a pioneer in Io T-based multi-modal cargo monitoring and tracking services. With teams located in EMEA, APAC and North and South America, Arviem helps its customers to protect their cargo from theft and quality damages. To grow our Team we are searching for a motivated and skilled Group Financial Controller, who will be working at our Greek entity in Athens.

Tasks:

• Preparation and analysis of periodic financial reports, management accounting reports, KPI reports, root cause analysis and formulation of recommendations for the different businesses
• Weekly reporting of working capital positions, controls the accounts payable and accounts receivable process, preparation of liquidity forecasts.
• Provide support for various accounting tasks and participate in the monthly and quarterly closing.
• Perform business case formulation, analysis, and support for presentations.
• Supports the financial planning process (financial forecasts, budget and financial outlook)

Your Competences:

• University degree or Business School Degree or equivalent with an accounting and/or financial specialization
• Preferably a minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position.
• Advanced skills to analyze data and to draw well-reasoned conclusions. High IT affinity and a sense for practical analytical and reporting tools.
• Ability to understand the drivers behind the business, how it interacts with selected KPI metrics and how it influences financial results.
• Ability to interact, convince team members, and to drive change.
• Self-motivated team player, with the ability to deliver exhaustive results and meet deadlines.
• Someone who thrives working in an intense and dynamic startup / scaleup environment.
• Fluent in English and German, eloquent communication skills
• You take ownership of tasks and initiatives.
• You work in a structured way.
