A fast-growing hospitality management company is seeking to hire an experienced Head of Accounting . This leading role ensures the smooth running of the hotel’s accounting department, and guides the optimization of financial health and efficiency, while complying with company standards, strategies, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Manages daily accounting operations, including expenses, accounts receivable, income audit, capex, Mydata etc., aiming at maximizing profitability

Meets deadlines for reporting to top management and relevant regulatory bodies

Conducts internal controls to safeguard assets, ensuring efficient use of resources

Applies regular audits, adhering to company’s policies

Prevents fraud according to regulatory standards.

Collaborates with all departments to ensure cost reduction without compromising quality of service

Be responsible for leading and continuously training and developing the accounting team, ensuring high performance and employee satisfaction

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

More than 7 years of accounting experience

Experience in the hospitality industry will be appreciated

Strong knowledge in accounting software and hotel management systems (e.g., Protel, SAP)

Strong knowledge of the General Accounting Plan, as well as relevant regulatory requirements.

Able to make complex decisions based on data and financial trends, providing relevant recommendations to meet strategic goals

Accuracy in handling financial data, and generation of accurate reports

Leadership skills, creating, developing and motivating a team of highly qualified professionals

Ability to work under pressure and adapt to emerging needs

Effective communication and negotiation skills

Strategic perspective and proactiveness in resolving issues
