We are looking for a Junior Research & Innovation Consultant to be actively involved in the implementation of key EU projects of the company and develop European Commission (EC) funded proposals. The candidate must have experience in the field and understand the concepts of innovation, technology transfer, digital transformation and technological advancement.
A Day in the Life of a Research & Innovation Consultant at Found.ation will include
On project Delivery:

• Undertake project-related tasks, including draft and review deliverables, services and reports based on quality objectives/standards.
• Lead day-to-day project management activities, including but not limited to monitoring of deadlines, costs, timeplans and resources.
• Compilation of required deliverables of the physical object.
• Implementation of publicity actions and events.

On proposal Writing:

• Lead a bid end-to-end or work directly with the allocated Bid Manager on several sections of proposals.
• Organize material and completing all writing assignments in a timely manner.
• Engage with internal and external colleagues, actors and delivery partners to secure appropriate input to proposals, as well as motivating others to provide information, to ensure deadlines are adhered to.
• Monitor and map EU funding opportunities in the context of different Funded Projects Programmes, such as Horizon Europe, CREA, CERV, Erasmus+, Interreg, etc. throughout the year. Analysing the Calls’ descriptions and drafting clear and accurate responses, ensuring content authored meets the compliance requirements.
• Communicate effectively both within the organisation, as well as with external partners (academia/ research, freelancers, industrial partners, public authorities, etc).
• Organize and participate in proposal-related meetings and lead co-authors, subject matter experts and technical teams regarding the required input; assembling proposal content authored by other writers and contributors into cohesive, compliant proposals.
• Ensure good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders are kept to a high standard.
• Ensure proposals are submitted on time and to a high standard and relevant format.

Requirements

• University Degree in Management, Economics, Engineering or other related discipline. A postgraduate degree will be considered an asset.
• 1-2 years of experience in relevant roles having previously coordinated and led consortiums in EU R&I programs (Horizon Europe, CREA, CERV, Interreg).
• Proven record in successful proposal preparation and/or implementation will be requested.
• Ability to manage and control project management responsibilities including project objectives, requirements and constraints.
• Excellent command of Microsoft Office tools & presentation skills (Word, Excel, Power Point, Project).
• Strong sense of ownership for quality of work and deliverables.
• Sound organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to transfer strategic objectives in business growth opportunities.
• Ability to travel in Greece and abroad.
• Excellent knowledge of the English language.
• Ability to analyze and solve problems.
