ANCO Maritime Activities Ltd is an NDT company with physical presence in Greece and China. Our company is offering inspection services exclusively in the marine industry.

In particular our company offers thickness measurements services, UT, MT welding inspections, boiler tube inspections and rope access services. Furthermore we offer supervision services during vessels repairs or modifications.

Job Description:
One of our main tasks is to perform thickness measurement onboard seagoing vessels, either at port during cargo operations or at shipyards during repair periods. Part of the inspection job is to enter required hull compartment (ballast and cargo tanks / holds) of the vessels, identifying structural components with defects and perform the thickness measurements as required by classification societies rules and regulations.

When attending vessels at shipyards, our technicians follow up repairs already identified by our company. We ensure that repairs are performed properly and as per repair plan from shipyard and/ or contractors. Relevant repair and UTM reports are issued by the attending technician during the repair period. Reports consist of both 2D drawings of vessels structural items and diminution tables. Technicians are required to travel frequently abroad in order to attend vessels around the globe.

Qualifications / Profile:
Our company is seeking to employ and traine personell to become NDT technician in order to be engaged in the thickness measurements field as described above.

A degree in any of the engineering principals either from TEI / ATEI, ASPETE or equivalent is a plus.

Final year students will be also considered for employment. Required adjustments to time schedule will be made to allow completion of studies.

Be enthusiastic to absorb new knowledge and willing to work onboard vessels is a requirement.

Good knowledge of English is a prerequisite.

AUTOCAD 2D knowledge is a plus.

Candidates should be available to travel frequent abroad at short notice.
