Accounting Officer (Hybrid)
Full time (1 year contract) Hong Kong
This role will play a crucial part in supporting and ensuring timely completion of month-end closing and financial reporting. The successful candidate will also be responsible for performing daily accounting functions, preparing management accounts, and providing clerical support to assist in preparing financial information in a timely and reliable manner.
As an Accounts Assistant, you will

• Assist in month-end closing and handle daily routine accounting operation
• Handle full set of Accounts, including AR, AP and filing
• Provide support for preparing the financial reports, analysis and bank reconciliation statements on monthly basis
• Be responsible for BSP, ADM/ACM reconciliations.
• Do bank statement download and upload in SAP on a weekly basis and ensure all related transactions are booked
• Perform credit card and bank account reconciliation
• Process batch payments periodically after obtaining due approvals from all the levels as per the approval matrix
• Review employee claim submissions and initiate the payment process and record the necessary journal entries in SAP
• Perform GL reconciliations on a regular basis
• Prepare Weekly cashflow
• Book fixed assets acquisitions and maintain the FAR
• Post other journal entries and ad hoc activities as required by the job
• Maintain accounting controls and proper documentation of accounting journals
• Assist in an audit by providing necessary supporting documents as requested by auditors

About you

• Higher Diploma or above in accounting or related discipline with minimum 3 years' accounting experiences
• Experience with any accounting software such as SAP would be advantage
• Proficiency in PC skills, particularly in Excel
• Travel industry knowledge is preferred but not must
