General Summary
The Area Business Manager is responsible for overseeing the operations, financial performance, sales growth, team leadership, and member experience across multiple AFC club locations. This role ensures that all clubs within the assigned region operate efficiently, meet financial targets, and maintain high standards of service and member satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Excellence:
Oversee club managers and teams to ensure efficient and effective daily operations.
Monitor performance and implement best practices to enhance member experience and drive profitability.
Collaborate closely with the Regional Operations Manager.

Financial Management:
Develop and manage annual budgets for each club.
Implement strategies to achieve revenue and profit targets.
Monitor financial performance, control costs, and make data-driven decisions.

Sales and Membership Growth:
Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies in collaboration with club managers.
Monitor sales performance and provide coaching to sales teams.
Drive membership retention efforts.

Team Leadership:
Recruit, train, and develop club managers and staff.
Provide ongoing support, performance feedback, and training.
Foster a positive work environment promoting teamwork and development.

Member Experience:
Ensure high standards of member satisfaction and retention.
Monitor and enhance the quality of services and programs.
Address escalated member concerns promptly.

Quality Assurance:
Conduct regular club audits and inspections.
Ensure adherence to company policies and industry regulations.

Marketing and Promotions:
Develop area-specific marketing initiatives, events, and promotions in collaboration with the marketing department.
Drive brand awareness and attract new members.

Report and Analysis:
Prepare and submit regular performance, financial, and operational reports to senior management.
Utilize data and analysis to develop improvement plans and drive strategic decisions.

Expansion and Development:
Identify opportunities for new club locations.
Participate in the development and launch of new clubs.

Qualifications/Requirements:
Proven experience in operations management, preferably in the fitness industry.
Strong financial acumen with a track record in budget development and management.
Demonstrated success in developing and implementing effective sales and marketing strategies.
Strong leadership skills, including recruiting, training, and developing staff.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in data analysis, report preparation, and strategic planning.
Knowledge of industry regulations and quality assurance standards.
Flexibility to travel between club locations as needed.
