Media Planning Specialist (Hong Kong SAR - Freelance)

Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced local Hong Kong SAR Media Planning Specialist r to join our dynamic marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing media plans to support our marketing campaigns and business objectives in the Hong Kong SAR market.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute comprehensive media strategies tailored to the Hong Kong SAR market.
Conduct market research to identify target audiences, media consumption habits, and competitive analysis.
Collaborate with the global marketing team to align media strategies with overall brand and business goals.
Create and manage detailed media plans, including selecting appropriate media channels (TV, radio, digital, print, out-of-home).
Negotiate media buys with media vendors to secure optimal placements and pricing.
Oversee the implementation of media campaigns from start to finish.
Track and report on campaign performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
Manage media budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
Provide regular budget updates and forecasts to senior management.
Work closely with internal stakeholders, including marketing, sales, and product teams, to ensure alignment and integration of media efforts.
Build and maintain strong relationships with external media partners and agencies.
Ensure all media activities comply with local regulations and industry standards.
Prepare and present regular reports on media performance, including KPIs and ROI analysis.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience in media planning and buying, preferably within the Mainland China-Hong Kong SAR market.
Proven track record of developing and executing successful media strategies.
Strong knowledge of the Hong Kong SAR media landscape and consumer behavior.
Excellent negotiation, analytical, and project management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a global team.
Proficiency in media planning and analytics tools.
Fluent in Chinese and English, both written and spoken.
NOTE about this job:
1. This is a freelance contract based on a remote setting, we don't have any plan to offer you a full-time position for this role
2. Only experienced and relevant candidates will be proceeding forward
3. Project length: 3-6 months, approximately 20-40 hours per month
4. Be flexible to join our daily operations for 3-4 hours per day
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Contract length: 3-6 months
Pay: $143.00 - $175.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
