Innovation and Technology for Ageing (ITA)

The ITA team of the Hong Kong Council of Social Service works to contribute toward a better and more respectable life by adopting gerontechnology in social service and the community. The ITA promotes cross-disciplinary collaboration and co-creation in driving technology development and application, intending to enhance the well-being, quality of life, independence and self-reliance of the elderly, caregivers and healthcare staff.

Programme Executive (Ref no: HKCSS/094/2024)

Two-year renewable contract

Responsibilities:
Maintain and support office administrative, and logistic duties for the team

Assist in planning and execution of various types of events, seminars and conferences, including pre-event preparation, on site event flow and follow up paper work

Coordinate with relevant vendors and participating parties to ensure smooth event execution

Track event processes and complete tasks in a timely manner

Demonstrate the ability to independently solve problems and flexibly respond to unexpected situations

Requirements:
Diploma holder or above

Familiarity with office work, event planning and execution processes, and adept at coordinating resources

Good communication, coordination, and organizational management skills

Meticulous and detail-oriented, multi-tasking with innovative thinking

Relevant work experience in event/exhibition management a merit

Knowledge in accounting and book keeping an advantage

Ability to work independently, as well as excellent teamwork spirit

Proficient in English and Chinese with good communication skills

5-day work per week. 15-day annual leave.
