Your Team Responsibilities

Research and product development using artificial intelligence

Your Key Responsibilities

· Apply the latest in machine learning (ML) and natural language processing (NLP) to develop new models, datasets and functionality at MSCI, and advise MSCI strategically in this space · Develop, align with key stakeholders, drive, and deliver on a roadmap to apply ML/NLP to develop new revenue-producing products · Strong horizontal leadership collaborating with and influencing others in research and technology · Help educate the broader team and its leadership on the latest ML/NLP tools and techniques

Your skills and experience that will help you excel

· Ph D or advanced degree in finance, physics, mathematics, statistics, computer science, economics or another quantitative discipline · Strong quantitative and problem-solving skills, including proficiency in Python, classic machine learning and large language models · Deep interest in empirical research, and the ability to handle and get insights from large quantities of data · Time management skills including the ability to handle multiple projects · Critical thinking, curiosity, client-centricity

Our Budapest office, located in the XIIIth district of the city, occupies the top three floors of the first LEED-Platinum-certified building in Hungary.
