We are seeking a Credit Analyst to help ensure the financial health of our company.
Role Overview:
As a Credit Analyst at LAT Nitrogen, your primary responsibility will be to perform detailed credit risk analyses and make sound decisions to minimize potential bad debts. You will work closely with our sales organization, explaining credit control procedures, monitoring overdue invoices, and taking appropriate actions to resolve any credit-related issues. Your role will be crucial in supporting sales efforts by offering creative financing alternatives when necessary, as well as ensuring the quality of our credit master data.
Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough credit risk analysis in line with LAT Nitrogen's Credit Control Procedure and rules of engagement.
• Collaborate with the business to gain market knowledge and proactively mitigate risks through company and industry analysis.
• Act as a credit representative towards the sales organization, expanding your network and supporting them in understanding credit procedures.
• Monitor and report on overdue invoices, ensuring timely resolution and effective communication with the sales team.
• Prepare and maintain monthly credit reports, including data on commercial risk usage, overdue status, DSO, and risk category spread.
• Maintain the quality of credit master data, including credit limits, risk categories, and customer segmentation.
• Ensure compliance with standard payment terms and manage the renewal of BU risk guarantees annually.
• Manage doubtful receivables in close cooperation with the Legal Department.
• Conduct customer visits when necessary to enhance risk assessments or facilitate ongoing negotiations.

What We Expect from You:

• Educational Background: University diploma in Economics or related field with a minimum of 2 years of experience.
• Skills: Strong analytical thinking, communication, and presentation skills. Proficiency in English is essential, with additional languages being an asset.
• Competencies: Ability to work effectively in a team, interact with challenging stakeholders, and make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience: Knowledge of project management, data interpretation, performance analysis, and business modeling is beneficial.
