Job Purpose:
The Indirect Tax Accountant is the overall responsible for the Indirect tax activities of the assigned companies, ensures timely submission of compliant indirect tax returns.

Your tasks will be:

• Participating in projects to stabilize and improve process performance
• Coordinating and lead workshadowing activities and enfore standard process splits are followed
• Preparing and filing of legally compliant indirect tax returns for Grundfos companies including: extract and analysis of accounting data for tax purposes, preparation of tax calculations and returns, calculation and follow-up on data additions and corrections, verification execution of payments and receipt of refunds, ensure there are no critical compliance issues.
• Preparing and post journals to record indirect tax related transactions in SAP
• Preparing of other tax reports like EC sales list, Intrastat, etc.
• Periodically reviewing vendor invoices to ensure compliance to VAT requirements
• Evaluating, resolve and eliminate VAT compliance discrepancies
• Performing reconciliation with other tax declarations as well as with the financial accounts
• Executing of relevant internal controls including reconciliation of assigned GL accounts
• Having accuracy, quality and integrity of all activities is according to the defined SLAs or other requirements
• Participating in building business cases to support the initial investment, linking the investment with the targets in the business and help analyzing post mortem follow up when the development initiatives are carried through
• Supporting the Monthly SIOP DBS reporting with profitability impact through full P&L simulation of outlook 18 months ahead
• Advising Pt P, Ot C teams on day-to-day VAT matters
• Performing ad hoc administrative tasks related to indirect tax for the given deadlines
• Establishing and maintaining a collaborative relationship with Grundfos internal partners including effective query handling

Ideally you have:

• University or college degree in finance, accounting, audit or equivalent
• At least 1-4 years relevant work experience within indirect tax area
• Fluent English knowledge (another European language knowledge is an advantage)
• Good SAP and MS Excel skills and general accounting knowledge
• Proven record of Balance Sheet reconciliation experience
• Strong knowledge of best practices and relevant practices, systems in finance
• Systematic and quality-oriented way of working
• Flexibility and capacity to work under pressure with regard to function and time
