Why join us?
As a Full-Stack Developer you will work on one of our products called UXfolio, a website builder targeting UX professionals all over the world. We are a small team of 8, and we make all product decisions together. We have the freedom to solve things without the need of approvals or other teams. As we build everything on our own, you have to be ready to become a full stack developer during the first few months.

What you bring

• You have experience in using Spring with Java/Kotlin.
  
• You are familiar with HTML, CSS, Java Script, and a frontend framework (preferably Vue but React or Angular is ok).
  
• You have experience in using Git.
  
• You have experience in using our backend technologies (Java/Kotlin).
  
• You are a team player and ready to exchange ideas, learn from others, and share your knowledge with your team members.
  
• You have great communication skills and you are fluent in English.
  
• You live in Hungary, and could come in occasionally to the office.
  

What you’ll do

• Building user-friendly web applications.
  
• Being responsible for whole product features from backend to frontend.
  
• Building everything related to a given feature from CSS code to API calls and the configuration of our cloud environment.
  
• As part of the product team you have the chance to be part of all product decisions we make (e.g. what features we build). Trying out new technologies and tools we might use.
  

The stack we use:

• Spring as a backend framework (we use Kotlin, but it’s okay if you know Java and are ready to learn Kotlin).
  
• Vue.js as a frontend framework (it’s okay if you know React or Angular and ready to learn Vue)
  
• We deploy our app to Heroku.
  
• Git version control.
  
• CI/CD: Git Lab.
  
• Our designers use Figma to prepare the UI plans, and we use Framer Motion for animations.
  
• We use third-party services like Google Cloud for storing images and Stripe for payments.
  

It is not a problem if you don’t have experience with all the technologies in the stack, but you have to be ready to learn them rapidly. It’s also okay if you are stronger in either the backend or the frontend side, but we are looking for people who wants to become full-stack.
