Inside Sales (f/m/x)

Background and role:
IMCD Hungary Kft. serves a wide range of market sectors in specialty chemicals, bringing added value to our customers and principals in South East Europe.
Currently expanding, we are looking for a dynamic “Inside Sales”, working part-time, for the Hungarian market into our Beauty & Personal Care and Home Care Business Unit. The position is initially offered for a one-year term, with the possibility of extension.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
- Full sales accountability and ownership for your assigned customers
- Preparing offers, chasing orders, resolving problems for assigned customers
- Actively seek and develop new business opportunities and new customers
- Conducting market research to identify targets, cold-calling, creation of and maintenance of business opportunities in CRM-system (Salesforce)
- Negotiating commercial conditions with customers
- Conducting sales remotely, using phone, MS Teams and other digital channels
- Occasional support in projects including market mapping, regaining lost customers, pushing non-working stock
- Supporting digital marketing including collaboration on campaigns, lead follow-up and support with customer portal adoption
- Ideally basic chemical knowledge, or ongoing studies in Chemistry
- High interest in sales activities and customer contact
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, ideally also with Salesforce
- Strong communication skills
- “Can-do” attitude with proactive approach
- High motivation, flexibility and reliability
- Fluent Hungarian and English language skills
