We are inviting you to join Howden, a Chart Industries Company and become a trusted and valued member of our OT HAX Procurement team. The main purpose of the job will be about placing and following up on POs with suppliers located globally, as well as drive cost reduction initiatives and ensure defined Key Performance Indicators, tools, Service Level agreements and SOX compliance requirement fulfil local and global strategy and initiate corrective actions in case of deviations, as well as ensuring, at all times, to have updated documentation of processes, SOP's, templates, policies, manuals andsystems according to current environment.
What Your Day-to-Day Activities Will Be…

• Issue Purchase Orders.
  
• Proactively monitor and ensure optimised performance in relation to cost, delivery on hardware and software,quality and compliance and initiate corrective action in case of poor supplier performance.
  
• Follow up on missing parts for complete delivery - software & hardware.
  
• Ensure correct delivery prority of parts according to customer segmentation agreed with sales.
  
• Handle all documentation in relation to supplier.
  
• Non Conformance reports (NCR) in relation to Supplier Issues.
  
• Ensure daily clean-up of MRP action messages according to defined rules with Supply Chain Management.
  
• Handle workflow "requested improvement of delivery time from sale
  
• Follow up on Customer orders on supplier location awaiting delivery address.
  
• Handle direct deliveries from supplier to customer.
  
• Control of Invoices according to rules defined with Finance.
  
• Release of complete BOM from Engineering department.
  
• Maintain and ensure correct master data in Axapta and inform Team Leader in case of critical orrepeatable errors.
  
• Handle rush orders through the supply chain - from supplier, inbound transport/direct deliveries, warehouse,shipping to customer.
  
• Ensure coordination between relevant parties regarding supply/sales issues.
  
• Feedback to Supply Chain Management in case of critical deviations in supplier performance.
  
• Integrate Howden Business Excellence (HBE) tools and philosophy.
  
• Internal Projects related to Supply Chain.
  
• Ensure EHS "Environment, Health & Safety" regulations are followed and report if any non compliant issuesare discovered
  

Your Professional Experience Should Be…

• Purchase experience (Minimum 3 year experience is required from a similar industry)
  
• Axapta (ERP), Outlook, Word and Excel on user level.
  
• Able to read and understand technical/manufacturing drawings.
  
• Fluent in English both orally and written.
  
• Driving new projects/initiatives within Howden Supply Chain in order to be cost effective, customer focused,and ensure best practice on process improvement.
  
• At all time to ensure compliance
  
• Develops and delivers the Supply Chain Strategy aligned with the overall strategy
  
• Finance, Shipping, Warehouse, Category Management, Quality Department, Project Management, Sales andother Howden Business Units in various countries.
  
• Suppliers located globally
