Reward & HR Services Manager, Hungary

You will be responsible for co-creation and execution of the company’s Reward strategy, and will manage the strategic and operational aspects of Compensation and Benefits, HR controlling and HR administration agenda of Dreher Sörgyárak. You will lead the team of specialists working in these areas. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the company’s reward systems align with business goals while driving the effectiveness of related HR services.

We count on you for these activities:

Manage Compensation & Benefits Agenda:
  • Lead the corporate Reward agenda within the organization, develop and implement the reward strategy in line with HR and business objectives
  • Continuously monitor best practices and market trends
  • Conduct job evaluations, regular benchmarking and salary reviews to ensure market competitiveness
  • Manage the local compensation and benefit policies, ensure compliance with local laws and regulations and regional frameworks
  • Oversee merit increase process, incentive schemes, local benefits, compensation packages
  • Be a partner for the business regarding reward matters, lead and participate C&B projects in close cooperation with HRBPs
  • Main contact for regional C&B, translate regional initiatives into local activities, participate in region-wide activities as needed


HR Controlling/Reporting and Digitalization:
  • Manage the preparation and monitoring of the paycost budget in close cooperation with HR Business Partners and finance team
  • Lead HR data analytics, supervise the development and maintenance of HR dashboards, support business units with execution of regular and ad-hoc reporting needs
  • Oversee HR digitalization initiatives to enhance HR processes and service delivery through automation and use of technology, participate in regional digitalization initiatives


HR Administration and Payroll:
  • Ensure smooth operation of HR administration and employee service
  • Manage payroll process (in cooperation with external service provider) in compliance with labour and tax regulations


Fleet Management:
  • Oversee the management of the company’s mobile devices and fleet vehicles
  • Prepare relevant policies, ensure cost-effectiveness and appropriate usage


Team Leadership:
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 5 HR professionals, fostering a supportive, inclusive culture
  • Ensure the team delivers quality service and support across all HR functions
  • Promote knowledge sharing, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team


You will need these skills for successful work:
  • Relevant University or College degree (HR or Finance is an advantage)
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in Compensation & Benefits
  • Experience in managing HR controlling/reporting and payroll activities
  • 3+ years of people management experience
  • Fluent Hungarian and fluent English
  • Experience of working in a matrix environment, preferably in FMCG
