Your responsibilities

We are looking for a Site IT Team Leader for the Steering plant of the Jászfényszaru site of thyssenkrupp Components Technology Hungary Kft. who would take responsibility for Office IT within the plant.
The role is responsible for Office IT only, meaning production IT is not in scope for it. Office IT has at present a very small team who take care of L1/L2 issues locally and need to escalate to different remote teams in case they are instructed to do so or cannot resolve an issue locally. IT are measuring KPIs and the Team Leader will need to present them to the wider management regularly.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on senior engineer who has good experience in Project Management, who also shows an interest and desire to move into people management and take on additional responsibilities and is willing to learn the needed skills along the way.
Main tasks:

• Ownership of office IT as a function in the plant
• Line, performance and technical management of other IT members
• Representation of IT within the organization of the plant
• Working with internal stakeholders and external ones (DC, Budapest, Eschen, Essen)
• Driving IT projects
• Representation of IT and its interests in non-IT projects
• Taking care of operative IT Infrastructure tasks
• As and when needed, taking care of L1 IT tasks
• Measuring and responding to KPIs
• Regular reporting to Head of IT in Budapest

Your profile

• IT infrastructure experience
• People management skills or willingness to learn
• Project management skills
• Good communication skills with both technical and non-technical parties
• Understanding operation of support organizations
• Can do attitude
• Problem solving
• Handling of pressure
• Good English skills (written and oral)
• Willingness to travel occasionally
