Who are we looking for?

What will you be doing?

• Manage the Polymer Protection and Thermal Management (Electrolube) Applications Lab, including maintenance of the equipment.
• Identify and assess incoming customer technical requirements and communicate parameters, application method and operating procedures.
• Create application method, customize as per customer requirement for Polymer Protection and Thermal products, specifically conformal coatings and encapsulation resins.
• Work in close co-ordination with Business Development, Sales and Line of Business team to develop and understand product application and qualitative analysis as and when required.
• Execute application of the Polymer Protection and Thermal products (especially conformal coatings and encapsulation resins) per customer requirement, in collaboration with customer.
• Participate in Root Cause Analysis for product and application failure, work in Kaizen-identifying projects and cost optimization.
• Provide technical trainings, and technical presentations to external and internal customers.
• Closely collaborate with other departments such as Operations, QA, R&D, and Product Marketing to provide technical solutions, to resolve product and quality issues, and maintain good product quality and services to Semiconductor and Assembly Solutions customers.
• Prepare reports on testing, customer visit, projects, new documentation, quality standards.
• Prepare and submit the monthly technical reports, call reports, and evaluation reports on timely basis.

Who are You?

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical/Electronics/Chemical/Mechanical engineering/Material Science
• At least 5 years experience in resin dispensing and conformal coating processes, and some SMT/PCBA Assembly industry experience,
• Experience in encapsulation resins, conformal coatings and thermal management materials. Experience with solder paste, paste flux, a plus.
• Proficient English language capability – written and verbal
• Team player, pro-active, and willing to learn attitude

What competencies will you need?

• Strong communication skills (written & verbal) for English
• Local language skills a plus, including Hindi, Kannada and Tamil.
• Strong presentation skills
• Outstanding customer relationship skills and be able to adapt to varying customer needs.
• Ability to multitask, manage transitions effectively and change focus quickly
• Ability to handle constructive feedback and adapt accordingly
• Ability to multi-task with 'can-do ‘attitude
