Position Overview: As a Buyer in the Group Business Services Procurement Operations Center, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of procurement operations. Your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional service to internal stakeholders by efficiently validating and completing procurement tasks. This position requires excellent communication, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
· Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders through responsive and proactive task management.
· Collaborate with stakeholders across various business units and regions to meet procurement needs.
· Prioritize, plan, and manage daily workflow, ensuring timely progression and completion of procurement tasks.
· Engage in supplier negotiations as needed.
· Ensure compliance with all procurement processes and procedures.
· Resolve invoice issues, including blocked or stalled invoices.
· Manage supplier communications and declarations.
· Oversee Global Vendor Master Management and Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs).
· Handle Requests for Quotes (RFQs), rework purchase orders, and manage the task request inbox.
Basic Qualifications:
· Associate's degree with 4+ years of experience, or
· Bachelor's degree with 0-1+ years of experience, or
· 8+ years of experience in lieu of a degree.
· Must be a U.S. Citizen for consideration.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Some experience in procurement or logistics is beneficial but not required.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.).
· Strong customer focus with excellent written and oral communication skills.
· Problem-solving abilities and the capability to adapt quickly in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
· Previous experience in a fast-paced environment, such as logistics, is advantageous.
