Kauai Fine Woodworking is a custom cabinetry and millwork shop nestled on the beautiful island of Kauai, HI. Our team has recently moved into a spacious facility, complete with a newly finished 1200 square foot finishing area and paint booth. We specialize in creating hand-stitched, custom, veneered cabinetry, paneling, and interior doors. Our close-knit team of about 10 skilled craftsmen works together in a focused, challenging, yet fun environment.
Position Overview:
We’re looking for two Experienced Cabinet Makers to join our growing team. If you have at least 5 years of experience building custom cabinetry and are passionate about your craft, we’d love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage projects from start to finish
• Work with exotic veneers, ensuring precision and perfection
• Understand and interpret shop drawings
• Set up and operate woodworking machinery
• Oversee and assist team members, ensuring quality and efficiency
• Install custom cabinetry and millwork as needed

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a custom cabinet shop
• Extensive experience with exotic veneers
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to perfection
• Proficient in understanding shop drawings and cabinet hardware
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Ability to set up machinery for others
• Installation experience preferred
• Self-starter with a deep understanding of complex woodworking concepts and engineering
