Job Summary:
We are seeking a visionary Sales Lead to drive our efforts in cloud computing, generative AI, and data analytics solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in these technologies, understand their business applications, and have a proven track record in B2B technology sales.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Identify and pursue new business opportunities in cloud services, generative AI, and data analytics solutions
2. Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline for our integrated technology offerings
3. Build relationships with potential and existing clients across industries
4. Conduct needs assessments to understand client requirements and propose tailored solutions that leverage cloud, AI, and data analytics
5. Collaborate with our cloud architects, AI specialists, and data scientists to create compelling proposals and demonstrations
6. Negotiate contracts and close deals for comprehensive digital transformation projects
7. Meet or exceed assigned sales targets and KPIs for technology solution adoptions
8. Stay current with trends in cloud computing, Gen AI advancements, and data analytics innovations
9. Represent the company at relevant industry events and trade shows
10. Provide regular reports on sales activities, pipeline, and forecasts for our technology services
11. Open for travel outside India
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, IT, Business, or a related field
2. 7+ years of experience in technology solutions sales, with exposure to cloud, AI, and data analytics
3. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in complex technology solutions
4. Strong understanding of: - Cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their service offerings - Generative AI technologies and their practical business applications - Data analytics tools, techniques, and business intelligence solutions
5. Excellent communication skills, able to explain complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders
6. Experience with data-driven decision-making processes and analytics implementation
7. Familiarity with cloud pricing models, AI solution ROI calculations, and analytics project scoping
8. Strong negotiation and closing skills specific to long-cycle, high-value technology deals
9. Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams
10. Understanding of data governance, privacy, and security considerations in technology implementations
Preferred Qualifications:
1. MBA or relevant advanced degree in a technology-related field
2. Certifications in cloud platforms, AI/ML, or data analytics (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer, Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer Associate)
3. Experience with solution selling methodologies in the context of digital transformation
4. Knowledge of industry-specific applications of cloud, AI, and analytics solutions
5. Understanding of data integration, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts
