Cost Manager MEP

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cost Manager for our MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) projects in Pune. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing project costs, ensuring financial efficiency, and supporting budgetary control for large-scale MEP projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cost Estimation & Budgeting: Prepare detailed cost estimates for MEP projects, including materials, labor, and overheads. Develop and maintain budgets, ensuring alignment with project specifications and client requirements.
- Cost Control: Monitor and control project costs throughout the project lifecycle. Identify and manage cost variations and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Contract Management: Review and negotiate contracts, ensuring that cost-related terms are well defined. Manage subcontractor costs and handle any contractual disputes.
- Reporting: Provide regular cost reports and forecasts to project stakeholders. Highlight cost performance, variances, and potential risks.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive records of all cost-related documentation, including invoices, change orders, and procurement documents.
- Coordination: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to ensure cost-effective solutions and timely project delivery.
- Analysis: Conduct cost analysis and benchmarking to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field. Professional certifications (e.g., MRICS, AACE) are a plus.
- Experience: 8-12 years of experience in cost management for MEP projects, with a solid understanding of MEP systems and construction practices.
- Skills: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in cost estimation software. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Location: Must be based in Pune or willing to relocate.
