Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Data Architect with expertise in ETL processes and data transformation to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and managing data infrastructure, ensuring smooth data integration, and implementing scalable ETL solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data is accurate, accessible, and actionable.
Key Responsibilities:
● Data Architecture Design:
○ Develop, optimize, and maintain logical and physical data models to support the data infrastructure.
○ Design, document, and implement scalable data solutions to manage complex datasets.
● ETL Process Management:
○ Architect and manage the ETL pipeline, ensuring efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading.
○ Optimize data workflows to handle large-scale, real-time, and batch data processing.
● Data Transformation:
○ Implement and oversee data cleansing, transformation, and enrichment processes.
○ Ensure high data quality and consistency across all data sources.
● Collaboration:
○ Work with data engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to define data requirements and develop data strategies.
○ Collaborate with the Dev Ops team to deploy and maintain data infrastructure.
● Data Governance:
○ Ensure compliance with data governance standards, security protocols, and data privacy regulations.
○ Define and implement best practices for data management, access control, and data lineage.
● Technology Evaluation:
○ Evaluate and recommend tools and technologies to enhance ETL processes and overall data architecture.
○ Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in data architecture and engineering.
Qualifications:
● Educational Background:
○ Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
● Experience:
○ Proven experience as a Data Architect or in a similar role.
○ Strong hands-on experience with ETL tools (e.g., Talend, Informatica, Apache Nifi, SSIS).
○ Expertise in data modeling, data warehousing, and data transformation processes.
● Technical Skills:
○ Proficient in SQL and database management (e.g., Postgre SQL, My SQL, Oracle, SQL Server).
○ Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for data integration and storage.
○ Knowledge of Big Data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is a plus.
○ Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
● Soft Skills:
○ Strong problem-solving skills with an analytical mindset.
○ Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
○ Ability to lead technical teams and mentor junior team members.
Preferred Qualifications:
● Experience in real-time data streaming (Kafka, Flink).
● Knowledge of data governance frameworks and best practices.
