Job Purpose:
The role is Data Support Engineer for TMF Group, and the role will report to the IT manager. This role will support our software developers, database architects, data analysts and data scientists on data initiatives and will ensure optimal data delivery architecture is consistent throughout ongoing projects. They must be self-directed and comfortable supporting the data needs of multiple teams, systems, and products.
Key Accountabilities:
- First level analysis on the pipeline failure or any other components
- Identifying RCA – Resolving the issue if Data or environment issue
- Raising defect with DEV team if any code change needed
- Monitoring reports refresh in Power BI, Data pipelines, CI/CD pipelines
- Keeping eye on ticket flows and timely update to all stake holders
- Deploying code artifacts in Azure environment
- Smoke testing of Environment post deployment
- Knowledge of Windows Azure Platform services and Microsoft Power BI Service
- Knowledge of ADF, Data Bricks, Azure SQL and Synapse
- Worked in support role monitoring and troubleshooting Azure Data Factory and Data Bricks Pipelines
- Ability to configure and orchestrate pipelines
- Monitor Data Pipelines
- Proactively identify, troubleshoot and resolve pipeline failure issues
- Working knowledge of SQL
- Ability to understand and write SQL Queries incl Joins, Group By
- Ability to analyse data issues, perform RCA, propose and implement fixes
- Understanding of Power BI Service and monitoring Report data refreshes
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders on Azure environment, pipeline runs and report refreshes
- Build documentation and knowledge base of commonly occurring issues and steps to fix them
- Good Knowledge of MS Power BI.
- Knowledge of Azure Platform Services
- Knowledge of ADF , Data Bricks, Azure Sql and Synapse
- Knowledge of Azure Devops.

- Ability to work without direct supervision.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiar with ITIL & ITSM principles.
