Key Responsibilities:

• Deploy and manage Elasticsearch and Kibana clusters on Kubernetes using Elastic Cloud on Kubernetes (ECK)
• Automate and orchestrate Elasticsearch and Kibana deployments, upgrades, scaling, and maintenance
• Implement and manage security, high availability, and disaster recovery for Elasticsearch clusters
• Optimize Elasticsearch performance and resource utilization in Kubernetes environments
• Troubleshoot issues related to Elasticsearch, Kibana, and Kubernetes
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate Elasticsearch into applications and services
• Create and maintain comprehensive dashboards in Kibana for data visualization and analysis
• Design and implement alerting systems using Elastic Stack features like Watcher and Alerting
• Develop custom visualizations and dashboards to meet specific business requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Strong experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration
• In-depth knowledge of Elasticsearch and the Elastic Stack
• Familiarity with Elastic Cloud on Kubernetes (ECK) or similar Kubernetes operators
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and Infrastructure as Code tools
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and their managed Kubernetes services
• Understanding of networking, security, and storage in Kubernetes environments
• Expertise in creating Kibana dashboards and visualizations

Experience with setting up and managing alerts using Elasticsearch and Kibana


Preferred Qualifications:

• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or equivalent certification
• Experience with Elastic Stack features like machine learning, security, and observability
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Git Ops practices
• Knowledge of logging and monitoring solutions for Kubernetes clusters
