Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Deploy and manage Elasticsearch and Kibana clusters on Kubernetes using Elastic Cloud on Kubernetes (ECK)
Automate and orchestrate Elasticsearch and Kibana deployments, upgrades, scaling, and maintenance
Implement and manage security, high availability, and disaster recovery for Elasticsearch clusters
Optimize Elasticsearch performance and resource utilization in Kubernetes environments
Troubleshoot issues related to Elasticsearch, Kibana, and Kubernetes
Collaborate with development teams to integrate Elasticsearch into applications and services
Create and maintain comprehensive dashboards in Kibana for data visualization and analysis
Design and implement alerting systems using Elastic Stack features like Watcher and Alerting
Develop custom visualizations and dashboards to meet specific business requirements

Required Qualifications:

Strong experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration
In-depth knowledge of Elasticsearch and the Elastic Stack
Familiarity with Elastic Cloud on Kubernetes (ECK) or similar Kubernetes operators
Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and Infrastructure as Code tools
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and their managed Kubernetes services
Understanding of networking, security, and storage in Kubernetes environments
Expertise in creating Kibana dashboards and visualizations

Experience with setting up and managing alerts using Elasticsearch and Kibana

Preferred Qualifications:

Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or equivalent certification
Experience with Elastic Stack features like machine learning, security, and observability
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Git Ops practices
Knowledge of logging and monitoring solutions for Kubernetes clusters
