Job Description

Our Building Services teams across the UK have a strong focus on technical delivery and an excellent understanding of client care, focused on Low and Net Zero Carbon building design. You will be an important part of a close-knit team working on a wide variety of projects. You will be supporting UK projects from India. We have a supporting and collaborative culture and enjoy what we do! We are looking for like-minded and personable people to strengthen our team and there is rapid progression on offer for talented candidates. We have a current focus on digital and parametric design and believe that the future of our industry lies in working smarter not harder. The location of the job is flexible which can be Gurugram or Noida.
Your key attributes and responsibilities will be:

• Have a minimum of 2-8 years’ experience of working using IES in a consultancy environment, ideally on UK projects.
• Command a team of 4-6 engineers, develop them and instill best practices.
• Understand the principles of building physics. Have a good knowledge of passive design, LZC technologies and ‘net zero’, and apply this to building energy modelling work.
• An understanding of SAP software and UK Part L compliance analysis would be beneficial.
• Understanding of green building certification scheme preferably BREEAM, experience with workflows of code compliance.
• Be able to work using your own initiative with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrate good attention to detail and show pride in the work produced.

Building Physicist (Building Services)
At Ramboll we passionately believe that building physics and building performance modelling is an integrated part of the building services design process.
To drive best practice in building physics and building modelling throughout the business, we are now looking for enthusiastic and experienced Building Physicists to work with our Building Services discipline in the UK.

Qualifications

Have strong experience in all aspects of building physics, including building energy modelling and UK Part L compliance analysis using IES or SAP.
Experience of using IES/Equest in consultancy setting; preferably working on projects in the UK.
Experience of using SAP would be advantages, as would an understanding of the requirements of relevant UK legislation. Must have experience in Building Physics
Understanding of daylighting modeling and compliance is preferable.
Experience with parametric rhino/grasshopper workflows is a plus.
