This role will be based out of Bengaluru, India.

Boeing Digital Aviation Solutions India team is currently looking for Experienced Full-Stack Developer- Geospatial, to join their team in Bengaluru, KA. As a Lead Geospatial Developer, you will be part of Boeing Digital Aviation Solutions India team, which develops software applications and products that create direct value to its customers. You will provide critical input to ensure the efficient GIS operations and support many project users in their day-to-day tasks. Hence, preferably a strong background in the field of Geospatial Technologies, extensive knowledge of the GIS software like Arc GIS, Micro Station and QGIS.

Experience in both desktop and web GIS environments, solid understanding of the different GIS data types and Data Formats and should have worked in an Azure cloud environment. Position Responsibilities:

• Experience of working with open-source geospatial technology stacks like QGIS, Geo Server , Open Layers, Leaflet, Post GIS etc
  
  • Full stack hands-on experience in GIS application development, like Open Layers/ leaflet/Arc GIS JS using Angular /React frameworks along with Py QGIS, Arc GIS API, GDAL, Geo Pandas etc using Python/Java/C#
    
• Experience of working in cloud env like Azure, AWS and also platforms like Data Bricks.
  
• Can decompose high-level technical requirements to the appropriate level of detail suitable for use by development team and those who must base their work on the requirements.
  
• Experience of working in a development team, use of source code repositories and version control in cloud environments
  
• Experience in geospatial solutions from development to production environments using Dev Ops pipelines.
  
• Ability to simultaneously work and deliver on more than one project on Individual contributor role.
  
• Quickly learns the customers, industry and product. Stay abreast of industry changes, particularly in the areas of cloud, data, analytics and GIS technologies.
  
• Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced, innovative environment with several ongoing concurrent projects.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor's or Masters Degree or equivalent degree is required.
  
• Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 8 to 12 years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Masters 7 to 10 years' related work experience).
  
• Understanding of the GIS core usages like AMDB and Navigation Charts etc for the aviation industry
  
• Geodatabase design and management, Oracle/SQL Server /Postgre SQL preferred
  

• Experience in Arc GIS Product suits and SDKs for desktop, web and mobile application development/configuration/administration.
  
• Arc GIS Online, Arc GIS Enterprise configuration and administration experience along with Arc GIS Geoevent Server and Arc GIS Geo Anlytics server experiences desired
  

Typical Education & Experience:
Degree and typical experience in engineering classification: bachelor’s with 8 to 12 years' experience, Master's degree with 6+ years' experience. Bachelor, Master, or Doctor of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering.
