Job Summary:
Apollo Kitchen is seeking an experienced and technically proficient Programmer cum Operator to join our production team in Sanand. The role involves programming, setting up, and operating laser cutting and turret punching machines to produce metal components for our commercial kitchen equipment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in CNC programming, machine operation, and a keen eye for detail to ensure the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:

• Programming:

• Develop, modify, and optimize CNC programs for both laser cutting and turret punching machines based on engineering drawings and specifications.

• Utilize CAD/CAM software to generate precise cutting and punching paths.

• Machine Setup:

• Prepare and set up laser and turret punching machines, including material loading and alignment.

• Calibrate machines to ensure accurate cutting and punching operations.

• Operation:

• Operate laser and turret punching machines, monitoring performance and making adjustments as needed.

• Ensure the smooth and efficient running of production batches, minimizing downtime and material waste.

• Quality Control:

• Inspect finished products to verify conformance with specifications and quality standards.

• Record and report any discrepancies or issues to the quality control team and suggest corrective actions.

• Maintenance:

• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines to ensure optimal performance and longevity.

• Troubleshoot and resolve minor technical issues with the machinery.

• Safety:

• Adhere to all safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment.

• Report any safety hazards or concerns to the management immediately.

Qualifications:

• Education:

• Diploma/ITI in Mechanical Engineering, CNC Programming, or a related technical field.

• Experience:

• At least 2-3 years of experience in programming and operating laser cutting and turret punching machines.

• Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in CNC programming and CAD/CAM software.

• Strong understanding of metal fabrication and machining processes.

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.

• Personal Attributes:

• Attention to detail with a focus on precision and quality.

• Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for long periods and handle physical tasks such as material loading.

• Capable of lifting and moving heavy materials as required.
